There was lot of drama when Binance listed Bytecoin. Couple of months back, the exchange delisted Bytecoin (BCN) and asked users to withdraw their coins. Today, Binance has announced that it would be doing a complete removal of the coin, including removal of the wallet.
This is because many users complained about having issues with the wallet and due to that, even the withdrawals had to be disabled.
So the Binance will be buying back all the remaining the BCN at a rate of 1 BCN = 0.00000020 BTC and crediting user’s account with this amount. Once this buyback is complete, BCN will be removed from the Withdrawal page.
Users will be able to confirm receipt of the BTC distribution in their accounts from the BCN buyback via the “Distribution History” page in the User Center.
