Paxful has issued an update about bitcoin purchased using gift cards. Starting on Sunday, 29 March 2020 at 12 noon UTC (Greenwich time), all gift card escrow fees will increase from 2% to 3% except for iTunes and Google Play gift cards, which remain at 5%.
Paxful is one of the easiest ways to buy bitcoin with bank transfer or digital wallets. However, over the past few months, they have increasing fees.
For all non-gift card payment methods, escrow fees will remain between 0.5% and 1%.
However, Paxful has got exciting news for you. Wallet send out fees will be reduced for all transactions under 20 USD starting from the same date as Paxful want you to make the most of your trades.
See below for our updated send out fees:
* 0 – 9.99 USD = 0.0001 BTC
* 10 – 19.99 USD = 0.0002 BTC
* 20+ USD = 0.0005 BTC
These changes will strengthen our compliance and customer support services when it comes to gift card trades, and you’ll enjoy making more with our reduced send out fees.
