Binance has announced that it will be removing many pairs from its exchange include PivX , Atom, Ardr, Wabi and Zcoin. Full list is given below.
AGI / BNB, ARDR / ETH, ATOM / TUSD, COCOS / BTC, DCR / BNB, DLT / ETH, DUSK / BNB, LSK / BNB, PIVX / BNB, POA / ETH, RCN / ETH, REQ / ETH, STORM / BNB, WABI / ETH and XZC / XRP.
Fortunately, Bitcoin pair is not removing for any coin or token so far. This means most coins will not lose most of their volume since most usually trade with bitcoin pair. However, some coins have lost TUSD pair.
So yes, users will still be able to trade aforementioned coins / tokens in other trading pairs such as BNB / BTC that are available on Binance crypto exchange.
Zcoin which goes by XZC symbol on Binance was first coin to get XRP as base trading pair. It has now lost the base. The only other coin that still has XRP as base trading pair is Tron’s TRX coin.
Binance usually delists trading pairs when there is not much volume on that particular trading pair. Those pairs will be removed on 2020/04/24 12:00 PM (UTC).
