Mandatory KYC on Deribit Bitcoin Futures exchange – Deribit KYC / AML Programme Update

Deribit was one of few cryptocurrency exchanges that offered Bitcoin Futures and Options which did not require users to do KYC / AML before they could trade on it. Well, starting today, November 9th 2020, all new users will have to do verify themselves before they can start trading.

Ledger Live Administrative Servers emails are fake – There is no Security Breach at Ledger

Hackers are sending phishing emails to users disclosing about a security breach affecting approximately 85,000 customers where it says “we must assume that your cryptocurrency assets are at risk of being stolen”. This email is fake and there is no security breach of any sort. Infact, since private keys never leave your Ledger hardware wallet, your funds are always safe unless you send them to a hacker yourself.
