Coinbase is exploring the addition of 30+ new digital assets. It is their goal to offer support for all assets that meet their standards and are compliant with local law.

Keep in mind that there is no guarantee that assets they are evaluating will ultimately be listed there for trading.
Another interesting thing is to note that some coins will be listed just for trading – not for withdrawal to any wallet.
Interestingly, a large number of coins are ERC20 ethereum tokens. Coinbase has already added two ERC20 tokens so far that include BAT and ZRX.
